I was working on some resin pieces the other day and thought to myself that all resin is not created equal. You really have to be careful when dealing with resin because if you use Epoxy resin you have to make sure that you measure out exactly the right amounts per the instructions on the box. The resin that I was using you have to measure out two equal parts of resin and hardener. Normally I mark them to make sure they are correct, however, this time I decided not to do that; it was a huge mistake. I ended up with less hardener than I was supposed to have.
I found out the hard way that if it is not measured out correctly the resin will not cure right and also will not harden all the way. It is very important to make sure that the proper amount of harder is mixed in. It was a hard lesson to learn but I wanted to share with you guys to make sure that you do not learn the lesson the same way I did.
Bendy pieces are not cute :)
